1. Data we collect & how
We collect information about you in two ways.
1. Information you give us verbally and written
2. Information given to us from medical professionals, Tax office etc.
2. How we use your data
For our Residents, to help improve the quality of care in our Nursing Home.
For our Staff, to pay wages and to keep their tax information up to date.
3. How we store our data & data retention
We will store all relevant data for a period of no less than 7 years beginning on the date that you leave the Nursing Home. All data stored in our Nursing Home is done so using the most appropriate measures. Information is stored in two ways, Physical Files and Electronically. Physical files are stored throughout the offices in our Nursing Home and electronic files are stored on our password protected computers.
4. Who we share your data with
Residents – To ensure continuity of care you data may be shared with your GP, Next of Kin, Physiotherapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietician, Hospitals and any other relevant Medical Professionals involved in your care.
Staff – Our payroll (outsourced), training companies & Tax office.
All staff employed by Kenmare Nursing Home sign a confidentiality agreement upon commencement of employment.
